Jessica obtained a BSc in Biological Sciences (Hons) from the University of Dundee followed by an MRes in Molecular Mechanistic Toxicology from the University of Birmingham. She has worked for over 10 years in drug discovery and development within industry and academia. She has extensive knowledge of assay development and validation gained through her roles in compound screening for lead discovery, optimisation, pre-clinical safety testing and clinical biomarker research.  Before joining SDDC she worked on a variety of disease targets at The Drug Discovery Unit (DDU) in Dundee developing biochemical assays for HTS. She joins SDDC as a Research Fellow in Assay Development and Screening working as a Biologist on our portfolio of Oncology targets.
