After completing my undergraduate in biochemistry at King's College London, I started a PhD at the Sussex Drug Discovery Center at the University of Sussex in 2015. My research focuses on using structural biological techniques (particularly X-ray Crystallography) to develop novel lithium mimics to aid the treatment of bipolar disorder. I was elected postgraduate research representative in October 2017. I am engaged in the laboratory-based training of Undergraduate life science students both as my role as an associate tutor and PhD student.
