Sussex Sustainability Research Programme will be hosting its second annual symposium on Wednesday 18th September.

In order to cover a range of important topics, the Symposium will include 2 parallel sessions, with the morning sessions covering the topics of “Planetary Health and the SDGs” and “Critical Transition Zones for SDGs – Forest margins and peri-urban zones” and the afternoon sessions “Climate and food futures” and “The Globalisation impacts of the SDGs”.  Plenty of time will be built in for open discussion and exchange of ideas.

The Symposium will also feature 2 consecutive poster sessions at which researchers will present the results from all SSRP projects.

The Symposium will start at 09:30 and finish at 16:30. At 16:30 a Member of Parliament will give a Special Speech on the SDGs and from 17:00 to 18:00 there will be a reception.
