Pop-up Library

Additional study space will be available on campus during the summer assessment period with the creation of a pop-up Library in Ashdown House.

The Library is running a temporary pop-up area during the May/June assessment period. It will include additional study spaces, PCs, Wi-Fi access and a staffed Library information point in order to provide students with addditional resources for study during this busy time.

From Monday 8th May to Friday 9th June the Library will open additional study space on campus from 8.00 to 19.00 (staffed service between 10.00 and 16.00) on weekdays only. There will be several dates when some of the rooms in the building will be unavailable due to prebooked sessions, which are listed below.

The pop-up Library will be located in Ashdown House, which is on the eastern edge of the campus, next to the Sussex Innovation Centre.

Level access to Ashdown House is available from the side door on the north-east corner of the building.

What facilities will be available?

Facilities will include:

  • Additional study space and PCs
  • Wi-fi access
  • Printing
  • Staffed Library information point

The main Library is likely to become busy during the assessment period and we hope the pop-up Library will provide students additional options for on-campus study during this busy period of the academic calendar.
