Reprographics & publishing

Materials from archives and books held in Special Collections may be copied depending on their physical condition and subject to any copyright or deposit conditions that apply.

A digital scanner is available in the reading room. This can be used to scan images directly onto your own USB stick. Digital cameras may also be used, under supervision. All images are for your own private research only and are made subject to copyright law. A copyright declaration MUST be signed before any images may be taken. A one day permit to photograph can be purchased from the Special Collections desk for £5.00. If you would like to take more than 50 images, please make a written request to the Special Collections Manager, University of Sussex Library, Brighton, BN1 9QL or email: library.specialcoll@sussex.ac.uk

For high quality images, suitable for publication, please contact staff. Additional charges may be made.
