Research Hive

The Research Hive provides a space solely for the use of doctoral level and academic researchers. Located on the second floor of the Library, it contains desk spaces and PCs for private study, two bookable meeting rooms and informal discussion space.

The Hive is supported by the Doctoral School and the Library's Research Liaison team and is facilitated by two Hive Scholars, current doctoral students at the university who are on hand to deal with researcher enquiries.

The Hive is a central space for all disciplines and a chance to meet other researchers for collaboration or just support. The Scholars host informal sessions on subjects such as becoming an Associate Tutor or tips for writing up your thesis, and welcome suggestions on new events to run in the Hive. Get in touch at:
