Finding statistics and datasets
The Library's Statistics and Datasets page identifies some of the key starting points when looking for statistics.
Large datasets such as Source OECD and ESDS give access to a large range of official data from several countries and are good starting points. OECD databases are particularly good for energy, industry and labour force figures. ESDS is divided into four main areas such as ESDS Government and ESDS International, and provides information of interest to social scientists.
Some other universities such as London School of Economics (LSE) have collections that are particularly strong on statistics and data.
The Intute webpages can also be a good means of identifying accredited statistics in your subject area.
