Are you in your final year?

Your Library can help you with...

Finding a place to study:

The Library has 24 hour opening during term time, from 10am Sunday until 8pm Friday.  We are also open every Saturday during term time, from 10am - 7pm.

To provide finalists with additional support and facilities during the busy period leading up to submission deadlines, the Library will be open as usual on the bank holiday Mondays 2nd May and 30th May.

Getting started with your work:

Book a place on our ‘Literature searching for projects and dissertations’ workshop for practical advice on researching for projects, long essays or dissertations.

Use the online Skills Hub to find information and resources to help you plan your written work, prepare for exams and assessment and to get advice on dissertation research and writing.

Moving forward:

Make an appointment for a 1-2-1 training session, tailored to support your specific needs.

Getting organised:

In addition to housing over 240 computers (PCs and Macs) the Library’s laptop loan facility offers borrowable Chromebooks to use in the Library. If you need help, you can ask a member of IT Services staff who are based at the Info Hub during term time from 11.00am - 5.00pm.

InfoSuss, available via Study Direct, can give you advice on referencing and referencing software.

Printing and binding:

You can print directly from your laptop to our printers and use our multi-functional devices to photocopy, staple and scan and send documents via email.
