Filters
Instructions for downloading to EndNote from individual databases and resources
EndNote has two different methods for importing records: filters and connections.
Filters are the more popular of the two; they allow you to save bilbiographic information from an online resource or database (such as Web of Knowledge) and then import the file in to EndNote. Filters tell EndNote how to import saved records from a specific resource.
With the majority of resources, the procedures are straightforward and do not require any further explanation. However, there are some where you may need a little more information. Help with these resources can be found below. If you have problems with specific filters not mentioned below, please contact us (library.eresources@sussex.ac.uk).

Harvard referencing style
The Harvard style, as supplied with EndNote, does not format correctly. There is an update to the style available, which can be downloaded here.
You - or your departmental PC Administrator - will need to save the file to 'C:\Program Files\EndNote\Styles\'
ITS have also created additional versions of the Harvard style for Education and Social Work students and to match Infosuss.
