Huge congratulations go to second year Law undergraduates, Dominic Griffin and Jason Pinkerton, who gave a splendid performance in the final of the National Negotiationg Competition and were just pipped to first place (out of 80 teams) by the very narrowest of margins - a single point. The winning team go on to represent the country (in California this year) at the International Negotiation Competition.
Dominic and Jason have certainly done Sussex proud and have maintained the Law School's very high standing in this competition.
Dominic and Jason were the winners of the Law School competition which is sponsored by DMH Stallard (solicitors) with monetary prizes for all four finalists and a week's work experience with the firm. So high was the standard of the finalists in the Law School competition (and in the Southern Regional Final of the national competition where Sussex teams were placed first and second out of 20) that DMH Stallard have exceptionally also granted work experience to the runners-up (Kirsten Wilkins (3rd yr) & Pat Hassan (GDL). The new series of workshops will start in Oct/Nov 2013.
Well done to all involved.
