Biography
Born in Granada, Spain. MA in Media Assisted Language Teaching (University of Brighton) and BA in Modern Languages (University of Granada). Holds a PGCEd that focused on teaching methodology and pedagogy for modern foreign languages. Also experienced in A Level and Adult Education areas. Committed to high standards in education, belongs to HEA and holds QTS status since 1993. Has taught Spanish language and Spanish 20th century art in the undergraduage programme at Sussex University. In additiong to teaching, I am currently writing materials for teachitlanguages.co.uk. and curating materials for the VLE at Sussex University.
Career prior to teaching: Holds a Certificate in Personnel Practice, has worked as Office Manager and Personal Assistant to a managing director at Study Group International and held the role of supervisor of operations for an American medical assistance company.
