Information for Corel users in 2018

As announced in September, the University of Sussex now has a site license for Adobe Creative Cloud, allowing every student and member of staff to use the full range of Adobe creative software including Acrobat DC, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Audition.

As a result of this, IT Services will not be renewing the license for Corel software, which is due to expire on 12 May 2018. On this date, Corel applications will be removed from all workstations and you will need to uninstall them from personally-owned devices.

How will this affect me?

If you use any of the following applications, you will need to ensure you’ve found an alternative way of working by the 12 May:

  • Corel Painter
  • Corel PDF Fusion
  • CorelDRAW Graphics Suite
  • Paintshop Pro
  • Video Studio
