Conference delegates — connecting to the internet

Conference organisers can arrange with the University of Sussex Conference Services for delegates who bring laptops or other mobile devices with them to have access to the internet. This covers wireless access from many buildings on campus, including campus residences, plus wired access from bedrooms for residential delegates.

Conference Services will provide the conference organiser with a special conference username and password for use on campus for the duration of the conference, and also the appropriate instructions for connecting to the internet.

These are also displayed below.

If your conference organiser has not arranged internet access with Conference Services, then for delegates from institutions that belong to JANET Roaming/eduroam, you may be able to connect using your normal login details. See our guide to using eduroam at Sussex for more information.
