Systems / Services Affected: Windows 7 security software
Date / time: Work began 12 April 2018, 11:00 and will continue until all University PCs have been updated.
Reason for change: Kaspersky security software is being removed from all University systems. As part of this work, Windows 7 desktop computers will have their anti-virus software changed from Kaspersky to System Center Endpoint Protection. This process will be phased throughout the University.
This process should be invisible and shouldn’t affect your ability to use your computer normally. You may notice that the icon in the system tray changes from Kaspersky to Endpoint.
