Lecture capture maintenance 13-14 September

ITS Services will be performing essential lecture capture system maintenance in order to allow us to handle the increasing demands for file storage.
This work will begin on Wednesday 13th from 17:00 onwards. The lecture capture system will be placed in read only mode. During this time:
- Lecture recordings can still be created in enabled spaces, but will not be ingested for processing until the system is restored on Thursday
- Media files cannot be uploaded
- Playback of existing recordings will continue without problem
There will then be short period of complete downtime on Thursday from 08:00. We anticipate that the work will be complete by 09:00. During this time:
- Lecture recordings can still be created in enabled spaces, but will not be ingested for processing until the system is restored
- Media files cannot be uploaded
- No playback of recordings will be possible
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

The lecture recording service is not currently available.
We anticipate that this work will be complete by 9:00

The maintenance work has now been completed, and the lecture recording service is available again.
