Network maintenance on 12 September

IT Services will be carrying out essential network maintenance on Tuesday 22 August, between 07:00 and 09:00.
This work will impact all networked services at the University, as follows:
- There will be no wi-fi or wired network on campus while the work is carried out
- Staff will not be able to log on to University-managed desktop PCs or Mac computers
- Students will not be able to log on to cluster room computers
- The website will be unavailable both internally and externally
- Jukebox Applications will be unavailable
- Skype for Business phones will be unable to connect
- There will no access to data storage
- Established connections (file transfers, ssh connections, etc.) will be disrupted

The planned network maintenance that was scheduled for tomorrow morning has been postponed. IT Services are working with departments to find a suitable date that will fit with the University's busy schedule at this time of year.
Once a date has been agreed, we will publish it to provide as much notice as possible. As a reminder, this work will cause the following interruptions:
- There will be no wi-fi or wired network on campus while the work is carried out
- Staff will not be able to log on to University-managed desktop PCs or Mac computers
- Students will not be able to log on to cluster room computers
- The website will be unavailable both internally and externally
- Jukebox Applications will be unavailable

There will be an interruption to networked services tomorrow morning. The work will begin at 07:00 tomorrow (12 September) and will be completed by 09:00. This is the work postponed from 22 August.
