New phishing message

A new phishing email has been reported this morning. The message may come from a Sussex email address, and encourages users to follow a link to "validate your account". It mentions "Sussex Admin" and the email signature is from "Admin Help Desk, University of Sussex Mail Update".

As with all phishing messages, the email contains a link to a website designed to trick users into giving away their login details. You should delete this message immediately if you receive it. If you're not sure, you should forward any suspicious emails to the IT Service Desk at support@sussex.ac.uk
