It has been brought to our attention that there are ongoing issues with the student webmail system (OWA), and some students are still unable to access their email accounts.
Our engineers are investigating this issue as a matter of urgency and we will post further updates as soon as they are available.

Our engineers are continuing to investigate the issue affecting some student webmail users, but in the meantime there is another method for students to access their webmail:
Students should go to http://portal.office.com and log in using their Sussex email address and password. You should then navigate to your email by clicking on the Mail icon.
We would like to emphasize that this is a short-term workaround, and we intend to resolve the underlying issue with email as soon as possible.
Our engineers have now identified and resolved the issue that has been preventing some students from accessing the webmail system (OWA). Students should now find they're able to log in.
