We're looking into a problem that's affecting system performance across the campus this morning.
Staff and students have been experiencing a slow response using Outlook and other Microsoft office programs. There are also likely to be some delays with logins and general computer usage.
We're sorry for the frustration this is causing and we're working to fix it as soon as we can.

We're sorry for the continued slow performance on a number of systems this morning which we're working to fix as soon as we can.
Staff and students are still seeing intermittently slow response while using Outlook, Microsoft Office and other programs and services, including general web browsing. The issue is thought to be down to unusual levels of activity on some of the central systems. We're working to isolate these and restore performance to normal as soon as possible.

We've identified and resolved an issue which was contributing to general system performance problems this morning. We're now monitoring services to make sure they are settling back to normal.
We're sorry for the inconvenience these problems have caused this morning. Services have been available throughout the day but running much more slowly than normal for much of the time.

Staff and students are still encountering slow response times using software and computers this afternoon and we're sorry for all the frustration this has been causing.
We've been monitoring systems closely and although there was some improvement over lunchtime, response has been slowing since around 3.30pm. We're investigating and will provide more information as soon as we can.

System performance has been slow again this afternoon with a number of staff and students reporting delays using software and computers.
Services have been available throughout the day but handling a high volume of traffic and responding very slowly at times. We're expecting performance to improve as we move into the evening but Thursday is likely to be a very busy day on the campus and we'll do all we can to keep systems running as well as possible.
We'll be monitoring services closely and please see this page for further updates.

Systems have continued to be extremely busy throughout the day with several instances of slow performance. Most of the interruptions lasted only for a short period of time but they were frequent, especially later this afternoon. We're sorry for the frustration they've caused and have been working hard to provide the best service we can.
