Migration to new student email complete

All undergraduates and taught postgraduates will now find their email inboxes looking a bit different; the migration to the web-based Outlook platform has been completed.

Over 7,000 user accounts have been transferred and it took just over a week for the whole process to take place. Students will follow the same login procedure as before and nothing will look any different besides the inbox. Outlook is an improvement on the previous system; it includes calendaring facilities as well as contacts.

The old student mail service will be decommissioned in due course and students who are graduating this summer will remain on the old service until the service is taken down.
