Some residents of Northfield are experiencing unexpected disruptions to their internet connectivity today. This is likely to be connected to the power outage yesterday evening.

IT Services are looking into the cause of the problem. Further updates will be posted here when more information is known.

UPDATE: 2 Jul 2015 - 2:11pm

We believe that this problem has now been resolved; Northfield residents are reporting that their wi-fi service has now resumed.

If you continue to experience difficulties with your internet connection, please contact IT Services who will look into this on a case by case basis.

Problems with access to wi-fi are ongoing in the Northfield residences.

To try and cure login issues in the Northfield Residences, IT Services will be performing an emergency reboot of the Northfield Zone switch. This will briefly interrupt ALL networked services in the Northfield residences at approximately 4.15pm today.  

IT Services regret any inconvenience cause by this non-scheduled work.
