Improvements to Student Email

We've listened to student opinion about email; a recent IT survey showed a level of dissatisfaction with the Roundcube system as it's beginning to look a bit outdated. To make improvements, we've been working on an upgrade which will be completed over the summer vacation.
The student mailboxes will be transferred to the Microsoft Office 365 platform that students can already access to use Office software online, but it will also be home to students' email.
It will look quite different from the current system but we think you'll find it easier to browse and search for messages. It also has some extra features like a calendar and address book which will help keep you organised. The new email system will also work well on mobile devices, making it easier to keep in touch wherever you are.
The new system is being introduced over the summer.
