There are currently no wired or wireless internet services in Brighthelm Residential houses 22, 23 and 24, due to a suspected damaged fibre optic cable.
IT Services Infrastructure staff have visited Brighthelm and completed diagnostic tests. Investigation by external contractors has been requested as soon as possible.
IT Services regret any inconvenience that this disruption may cause.

Specialist contractors will be onsite tomorrow to investigate the network outage in Brighthelm houses 22, 23 and 24 and it is hoped that they will be able to instigate a repair whilst onsite.

Specialist contractors have visited site this morning and confirm that the loss of network services in Brighthelm houses 22, 23 and 24 has been caused by a damaged fibre optic cable. They will return to site early next week to replace the damaged cable.
IT Services apologises for the inconvenience that this loss of service may cause.
