Updating bank details in Sussex Direct

Students are currently unable to change their bank details in Sussex Direct due to a problem with a payment validation service used by the University.
We're working with the provider to fix the problem as soon as possible and we expect the service to be back to normal in the next twenty-four hours. If you've recently changed bank accounts and need to update your details in Sussex Direct, it would be best to wait until the service is back online if you can.
However, if you need to change your details urgently because you're expecting a payment in the next few days, you can visit the Student Accounts office in Sussex House (open Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 4.00pm) or email creditcontrol@sussex.ac.uk. The Student Accounts team need written confirmation to change your bank details and cannot update them over the phone.

Students can now update their bank details as normal in Sussex Direct. The service was offline yesterday due to a problem affecting the University's payment validation service. The provider was able to resolve the fault on Tuesday evening.
Students can update bank details by choosing Personal and then Financial from the Sussex Direct menu.
