Network connections in BSMS

There was a short interruption to network access in part of BSMS today, caused by a problem with the electricity supply to the building.

Disruption to the network lasted around twenty minutes when the networking equipment in that part of the campus lost its power supply. Several locations were affected, including BSMS-T, the computer room in JMS 1B01 and the JMS lecture theatre but services were available as normal from around 3.40pm onwards.
