Computer room upgrades

The annual process of upgrading the Windows PCs in computer rooms across the campus is underway. During the summer vacation, we will be reinstalling Windows on over 1,000 PCs in computer rooms and labs.

We will be closing all of the cluster rooms and PCs in open plan areas in rotation so we can complete this work and will update this page with details of the closures.

Completed rooms
We have now completed software upgrades in the following rooms:

• Arts C169
• BSMS large computer room
• Pevensey 1B4

Further information
All student PCs are upgraded every year to install the latest versions of programs that have been requested as part of the annual software review.
