The IT Service desk will be open from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday for most of the Easter vacation and the user area in Shawcross will be available 24 hours a day using the keycode (except for 4-5 April - see below).
This year we are also opening the IT Services Desk between 12.30 and 5.30pm on the two minimum service days - on Thursday 5 April at the Help Point in the Library (due to there being no power in Shawcross) and on Tuesday 10 April in Shawcross, but we will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

The user area will be locked (with no access at all) at 5:30pm on Wednesday 4 April due to the planned power outage. It will reopen, with keypad access, on Thursday 5 April once power is restored.

Thursday 5 April power supply
There will be no electricity supply to Shawcross for much of the day on Thursday 5 April. The user area in Shawcross will therefore be locked to ensure that all equipment is switched off before the planned power outage on Thursday. Normal out of hours keypad access will be available from Thursday afternoon, once power has been restored.
Other computers on campus
Computers in the Library will be available whenever the Library is open and the cluster room in York House will be open throughout the break. Other cluster rooms are likely to be unavailable for at least part of the vacation when the buildings are locked or if affected by the planned power outages.
Stanmer Court. ResNet Connectivity for residents in Stanmer Court goes via network equipment in Falmer House so could be affected when there is planned power outage to Falmer House on Saturday 7 April.
Other residences. ResNet connectivity for residents in all other residences, apart from Stanmer Court, could be affected by the planned power outages to York House and Park Village substations on Tuesday 10 April.
