IT help point stats

We opened our help point in the Library at the start of the Spring term.

With so many more computers in the Library, the idea was to provide a chance for people to seek on-the-spot assistance rather than having to phone IT Services or walk over to Shawcross.

So far, numbers of enquiries have been a bit lower than we expected. This might be because at this stage of the year, most people don't need so much help with IT. In fact around a third of the enquiries we dealt with were not even IT-related!

Help point stats, january 2012. 57 wi-fi, 112 printing, 66 PC-related, 10 logins. 140 enquiries were not IT-related!
