Use this service to change your password, vacation email message or forward your email to a different mail account.
You must be registered with IT Services in order to use the general computing facilities on campus, including completing Online Registration, and using Sussex Direct.
When you register with the university you will be issued with a username, password and email address.
All students and staff of the University are eligible to apply for an account:
You are also strongly advised to attend a practical induction session about using the computing facilities at Sussex, including how to login and use the printing facilities. For new students this will normally be part of your induction programme in Freshers' Week.
The first thing you must do is identify yourself by typing in your username and password then clicking on the Submit button.
When you have successfully logged in, you will see the panel that allows you to change your password. You have to type the password in twice (to verify your new password) and click on Submit.
You will have received an email address when you register with IT Services. The Set Mail Options panel allows you to manage this facility. For example you can automatically forward your messages to another mail account.
When you have finished making changes, you must click on the Logout button. Failure to do so potentially means that others can alter the settings, for example changing your password so that you will no longer be able to login.
Use this form to request an IT account for a new member of staff starting at the University:
Request user account for a new member of staff (login needed)
This form should be completed by the school administrator or the new member of staff's manager. We would appreciate as much notice as possible in order to have access to all services ready for the start date(especially if this is at the beginning of the Autumn term).
