IT Services have an application available called XpressConnect which automatically configures your laptop or desktop to use the Eduroam campus network. You need to have Service Pack 3 for Windows XP / Windows Vista, or Mac OS X Tiger (10.4) / Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) in order for it to run.
The application will be automatically installed when you connect to the network for the first time and register with the Sussex Network Support site. For full instructions, see the instructions on the pink and green sheets at:
In addition, you can have an appointment or attend a drop in session at IT Services in Shawcross, where a Heldesk advisor wil help you to connect your laptop to the campus network.
Please note that your computer still needs to be registered with the online support page first, before XpressConnect is installed.
