Michael was the winner of a short film competition, conveying why Sussex is the best ‘place to be’. ‘In my opinion, it's the combination of a high-class university with international flair, the wonderful city of Brighton and the friendliness of people,’ he says.
Anna's perspective (UK)
Anna’s short film won the competition in a previous year. ‘I aimed to capture the heart of the university and express what students love about being here,’ she says. The film is a tour through the perfect day of an anonymous student and I've featured the things that Sussex students are so fond of – the lawnmowers that release the smell of freshly cut grass all over campus, late afternoon pints on Brighton Beach, then ending the day with a barbeque on the South Downs."
