Green campus, just an hour from central London

Our beautiful parkland campus is a safe and convenient place to study, yet excellent transport links mean Brighton, London and the UK's largest airports are just a short journey away.

Our students say one of the best things about Sussex is the campus. Just nine minutes by train from Brighton city centre and around an hour from central London, the Sussex campus is located on the edge of the South Downs – a National Park offering some of the most breathtaking scenery in England.

Surrounding the campus you'll find stunning views, quiet walks and plenty of opportunity for hiking, mountain biking or paragliding. The rural setting means you can enjoy the best of both worlds – peace and tranquillity while you study, but with the buzz of Brighton and London within easy reach.

Our campus is also linked to Brighton by the city's award-winning bus service, which runs 24 hours a day and seven days a week – so it's easy to get home after a night out in the city.

Cycle routes

Brighton was found to be the UK's 'healthiest' city, and cycling is central to the city's transport planning. In fact, Brighton has been selected as a national Cycling Town from 2009-2011. You can ride from the city centre to the campus in around 30 minutes using the cycle paths, and cycle stands are available on campus.
