From London Heathrow airport
You can take a National Express coach from Heathrow Airport to Brighton and then transfer to the University by taxi, bus or train. Coach journey time is around two hours. Alternatively, use National Rail Enquiries to check train times from London Heathrow to Falmer (the University railway station).
From London Gatwick Airport
You can take a train from Gatwick Airport to Falmer (the University railway station), changing at Brighton or Lewes. Journey time is around 45 minutes. Use National Rail Enquiries to check train times and frequency.
From Southampton Airport
You can take a train from Southampton Airport Parkway railway station to Falmer. You will normally need to change in Southampton/Portsmouth and Brighton. The journey time is around 2 hrs 15 minutes. Use National Rail Enquiries to check train times and frequency.
From central London
Train — You can take a direct train to Brighton from London Victoria, London Bridge or Clapham Junction railway stations. Use National Rail Enquiries to check train times. Once you arrive at Brighton, change trains to Falmer (the University railway station).
Coach — You can take a National Express coach from London Victoria coach station to Brighton. Journey time is around two hours.
From Brighton
Train — You can take a direct train to Falmer (the University railway station) from Brighton station. Journey time is nine minutes. Use National Rail Enquiries for train times.
Bus — You can take a number of bus services from stops across Brighton to the University. Some bus services run 24 hours a day. For more information, visit Brighton and Hove Buses.
Taxi — You can take a taxi from Brighton to the campus in around 15-20 minutes. The University has a ‘Fare Deal’ scheme with Streamline Taxis, under which visitors, staff and students will be charged a flat fare of £12 for travel between the University and anywhere in central Brighton.
