The International Student Support Office (ISSO) is here to help you make the most of your time at Sussex and deal with any problems you may encounter.

Arrival and welcome

During the main arrival weekend in September our teams of student helpers will be at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports to welcome you to the UK, answer your questions and direct you to coaches and trains. You will then join the welcome programme – a week-long series of events, with information sessions on academic matters, finance, health and immigration, local tours and a big welcome party to meet other international students.

Help and advice

The International Student Support Office can provide advice on immigration, finance and living in the UK, or just offer a friendly face if you feel like you need someone to talk to. We have dedicated international advisors for students from China, Japan and South Asia.
