Win two tickets to Beth Orton in the Attenborough Centre
Staff and students can win two tickets to a performance taking place on Friday 27 May 2016 (8.00pm).
Acclaimed singer songwriter, Beth Orton, is premiering highly anticipated new material in two Brighton Festival shows at the Attenborough Centre. Orton has been one of the UK’s most distinctive and beguiling voices in contemporary music for the past two decades.
Staff and students are invited to enter a competition for two tickets (one pair for one person) to one of the performances taking place on Friday 27 May 2016 (8.00pm).
To enter, just write why you think you should go to see Beth Orton sing in 140 characters or less – the same length as a Tweet.
Titling your email 'Beth Orton competition', send your answer with your name, status (e.g. staff or student) and contact details to: internalcomms@sussex.ac.uk.
The closing date is: Friday 20 May 2016.
The winner will be chosen by Creative Director of the Attenborough Centre, Laura McDermott. They will be contacted by email or telephone soon after the closing date.
Terms and conditions:
- Entrants must be over the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition.
- Only one entry per person will be accepted.
- All University of Sussex Staff can enter apart from the Internal Communications team.
- Entries received after the published closing date will be discarded.
- Sending an email is not proof that we have received your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
- If for any reason, a winner cannot be contacted then the Internal Communications team may declare such a win void and select a substitute winner.
- No cash alternatives are available to any prizes.
- The winner is responsible for all other expenses.
- The University of Sussex reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Any changes will be published on the competition news story.
