Your chance to win a night's stay at the Guillver's Hotel, Brighton.
The latest in the University's series of hotel competitions gives Sussex students, staff and alumni the opportunity to win a night’s stay for two at the Gulliver's Hotel, Brighton.
To enter, just answer this question: What souvenirs can be bought from the Gulliver’s Hotel Boutique?
Send your answer, which can be found on the Gulliver's Hotel website, with your name, status (e.g. staff/student/alumni) and contact details to: hotelcompetition@sussex.ac.uk.
The closing date is: 31 March 2016
The winner will be contacted by email or telephone within a week of the closing date.
The prize is a night’s stay for two in a double room with breakfast.
Valid: Sunday–Thursday (subject to availability)

Hive Blog competition: results & new competition
The entrants to the latest Hive Blog competition for doctoral researchers provided useful writing tips. The Hive Scholars will be continuing to think about writing tips, with some upcoming blog posts.
The winner is Natalie Edelman (BSMS), who receives some great prizes, including SAGE goodies. Check out Natalie’s post.
The Hive Scholars are now announcing their next competition. This month doctoral researchers are invited to write a short paragraph on any aspect of the theme of conference experiences and send it to researchhive@sussex.ac.uk, or via the Twitter account @sussexreshive.
The prizes up for grabs are:
- £10 in National Book Token or Amazon voucher
- SAGE goodie bag
- 25% off SAGE publications
The deadline is 31 March. If you can’t get something in by then, don’t worry as the Hive Scholars will be running a competition next month too.
Take part in the Research Hive Survey - open until 21 March
The Sussex Research Hive Scholars are launching the Research Hive Survey 2016.
It offers doctoral researchers the chance to tell the Hive Scholars about their experiences and their views on the Hive space, events and activities.
It should take only around 10 minutes to complete the survey and, as a thank you, if researchers provide their email address they will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of two £20 book vouchers.
The results of the evaluation will be used to inform decisions about the Research Hive, so researchers' contribution is very much appreciated. The Hive Scholars will also write up their findings on the Research Hive blog. Access the survey.
