How to enter the free raffle
Once you have registered for the Staff Party and booked your meal time slot, you’ll receive your ticket from Eventbrite in an email. Please print out your ticket and bring it with you on the day to hand to catering staff for your food and drink. Your printed ticket will also be entered into a free raffle.
The Staff Obstacle Olympics tournament is also proving popular with staff, with over 70 people registered to take part so far. Music and giant garden games are also being provided on the day for those who aren’t taking part in the tournament.
Spaces are limited for the Olympics, so staff are encouraged to sign up soon. Those who enter will be split into teams of 8-12 to compete. Participants are likely to end up covered in water and soap suds, so it’s smart to dress casual.
Responding to questions in the 2014 and 2015 staff surveys, staff made it clear that they wanted more opportunities to socialise with colleagues. The University is working on ways to bring staff together through events such as the summer party. Keep an eye out for new announcements later this year.
