Final version of staff survey action plan now available

The final version of the staff survey action plan is now available, following consultation with a number of stakeholders across the University on a draft action plan published last month.

A logo for the staff survey in 2014: yellow background with white lettering saying 'Staff survey'The action plan is focused on the key issues coming out of the 2014 staff survey, and takes into account feedback from staff, trade unions, Senate (the University’s academic body) and Council (the governing body) on the earlier draft action plan.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Farthing, will chair an overview group including a cross‑section of staff to monitor the implementation of the final institutional action plan.

Additionally, each school and professional services division is being asked to develop a local plan, focusing on the priority issues arising from their own results.

In November 2015 a mini ‘pulse’ survey will be conducted to find out if staff views have changed in the year since the 2014 survey. The staff survey will be conducted regularly so that findings in future years can be benchmarked against previous results.
