Discretionary pay review 2012-13

The annual processes are under way to review discretionary pay for the professoriate and for staff on grades 1-9.

The procedure for pay review is designed to reward exceptional performance.

Collated submissions will be put forward to Human Resources from heads of schools and from heads of the professional services during September.

These submissions will then be considered by a number of Review Panels, which will make provisional decisions for pay awards, subject to approval at the Vice-Chancellor’s Executive Group.

During October Human Resources will write to all staff receiving an award, and payment will be made in the October payroll.
