Better mobile-phone signals on campus

The mobile-phone signals on campus are set to improve this summer. On 2 April a crane will lift new masts on to the roof of Bramber House for installation. Latest information provided to Estates by the phone networks is that the site will be live by June at the latest.

New menus

Catering Services have launched new menus for staff on campus who wish to book refreshments for events. David Chick, Catering Services Manager, says: “We listened to feedback asking for more choice and flexibility in the hospitality service we provide and have designed a ‘builder’ style menu.” The new menus enable staff to tailor the content of the refreshments they wish to offer their guests. All menus can be pre-booked for the delivery of refreshments to any office, meeting venue or social space on campus. Catering Services will provide the old-style menus (e.g. working sandwich lunch) for existing orders until 16 April.
