Christopher Saunders

It is with deep regret that the University reports the death of Christopher Saunders on 13 January. Christopher was a professorial fellow in the former Centre for Contemporary European Studies and latterly an honorary fellow in SPRU. Christopher was always ready to use his deep knowledge of both East and West European economies to benefit the University's research activities and especially to give generous help to graduate students.
