University rejects racist views

The University of Sussex strongly dissociated itself this week from the personal views on race of Geoffrey Sampson, Professor of Natural Language Processing.

The Royal Society, the UK's national academy of science, has elected a University of Sussex scientist to one of its prestigious Fellowships.

The fortnightly Bulletin is written and produced by Alison Field, Peter Simmons and Benedict Brook. We welcome any news, story ideas, letters or small ads from staff and students of the University.
