Legal celebration
The Centre for Legal Studies had something to celebrate and did so in fine style last week. Not only is it now five years old, but it improved its rating in the RAE and has in the past year enhanced its output of research DPhils and publications (all of which, including the DPhils were on display). In a brief address, the Director (Professor Harry Rajak) welcomed a number of outside guests (who included the Official Receiver in bankruptcy for the Brighton area - a purely friendly relationship we were told) and paid tribute to the teaching faculty and administrative and secretarial staff of CLS.
