Give your views on transport in the Lewes Road area
Sussex students and staff are being invited to an exhibition about plans to revamp the Lewes Road in Brighton.
Brighton & Hove City Council has won £4.2m of government funding for a scheme to improve the transport flows, ‘street scene’ and air quality along and around Lewes Road.
The sum will be added to £2.5m in contributions from other local partners, including the bus company and the University of Sussex.
The Council-run roadshow on Thursday 24 November will be an opportunity for students and staff to learn more about the proposals – and to make their own suggestions.
Council officers will be on hand for a chat between 12noon and 4pm in the Students’ Union foyer in Falmer House.
They’ll also be inviting students and staff to fill in a brief questionnaire about the plans.
For more details or to complete the questionnaire online, see the Brighton & Hove City Council website.
