A technique to add local connectivity information into Hough based transforms is reported. The proposed connective Hough transform and the connective Dynamic Combinatorial Hough transform for lines have better signal/noise ratio and require fewer computations. Both might be implemented in parallel. A method is proposed for regular quantising of the Hough accumulator which is much coarser and hence reduces the storage needed compared with the recently proposed hi-fi quantization.
