Building and showcasing a research environment
Thursday 15 March 12:00 until 13:30
Library Meeting Room, 2nd floor
Speaker: Prof Michael Davies, Pro Vice Chancellor (Research)
Part of the series: Sussex Research Hive Seminars
Every research discipline, whether its projects are typically team- or individual-based, only thrives in a strong research environment. Our disciplinary and interdisciplinary research environments at Sussex will be assessed in REF2021, reviewing features such as their active programmes and research infrastructure, their engagement with external organisations, their PGR and early-career culture, and their equality and diversity support. So how can Schools and departments build a strong, inclusive and visible research environment?
Research Hive Seminars 2018
The Sussex Research Hive Seminar series returns for its ninth year. The popular series brings together the Sussex community to discuss current issues in research.
These lunchtime events, funded by SAGE, are hosted by the Library and open to everyone engaged in, or supporting, the research process at Sussex. Please sign up to the seminars using the booking links below. Where possible slides and recordings of the sessions will be made available.
