MAVE part time

The part-time version of the degree has the same set of courses as the full-time version, spread over two years. This enables students to support themselves with part-time work.

The amount of work required of a part-time student is roughly half that of a full-time student, namely 200 hours per term. The attendance requirements depend on the particular options taken. We try to schedule lectures, seminars and working groups in such a way that attendance will be restricted to no more than two days of the week, but the exact number of hours will depend on the particular requirements of modules. Some rely heavily on laboratory or computer system access, some on library research and others on participation in group projects.

Every attempt is made to accommodate the individual needs of part-time students.
