University Self-Assessment Team

The University’s Self-Assessment team (SAT) was established in March 2012 to develop the University’s bronze submission.  It consists of members of staff and post-graduate students from across the University, representing each STEMM discipline and a number of Professional Services areas involved in the Athena SWAN submission process. The SAT is responsible for the implementation of the University’s action plan, the renewal of the University’s bronze application in April 2016, and the submission of future University-level applications.

The SAT normally meets every 6-8 weeks.  It reports to the University’s Equality and Diversity Committee. The SAT has male and female members and includes both full and part-time staff as well as those with recent experience of the University’s recruitment and promotions processes.
