Fire
Fire can have a devastating effect on organisations. It can cause fatal and serious injuries and can result in serious disruption to an organisation's activities.
The Health and Safety Office provide advice and guidance on all aspects of fire safety, from the design of new facilities through to the use of flammable substances. The Health and Safety team also advise the University on fire safety policy, arrangements and procedures to ensure that the risks of fire are minimised and that, were a fire to occur, the impact of the fire can be reduced to a manageable level.
