In March 2013 information about summer graduation will be emailed to all eligible students' Sussex email addresses.
Where is Graduation held?
Graduation takes place in the beautifully refurbished Brighton Dome.
Who is eligible to attend?
For Summer graduation, all students who are eligible to attend will be emailed an invitation in March 2013.
The Student Progress and Assessment Office (SPA) deadlines for Postgraduate Research Students who wish to be eligible to graduate at the Summer Graduation Ceremony are:
Friday 10 May 2013 – to receive the Internal Examiners approval that corrections have been made to their satisfaction (please note the examiners will need time to read and approve the corrections).
Friday 24 May 2013 - the date by when the award of the degree has to be ratified by the University Senate.
Friday 7 June 2013 – for the SPA Office to receive a copy final hard bound thesis, pdf copy of thesis and the completed ETHOS Library form.
What do I wear?
Academic dress is required for graduation ceremonies. Please refer to the gown hire page for further information.
